What's included in the free trial?
You get full access to all features of the Business plan for 14 days. This includes:

Do I need a credit card to start?
No. We don't ask for payment information to start your trial. Just sign up with your email and start using Stageholder immediately.
How long is the free trial?
The trial lasts 14 days from the moment you sign up.
Can I extend my trial?
Yes! If you need more time to evaluate Stageholder, just reach out to us:

We're happy to extend your trial — we want you to be confident in your decision.
Is there a limit on what I can do during the trial?
No artificial limits. You can:
- Add as many assets as you need
- Invite your team members
- Import your existing data

After the Trial
What happens when my trial ends?
Your trial simply expires. Here's what happens:
- You won't be charged — we never took your credit card
- Your data is safe — we keep it for 30 days
- You can subscribe anytime — pick up where you left off
- You can export your data — even after trial ends
Can I still access my data after the trial?
For 30 days after your trial ends, your data is preserved. You can:
- Subscribe to continue using it
- Contact us to export your data
- Request an extension
After 30 days, your data is permanently deleted for privacy.
What if I'm not ready to decide?
No pressure! You can:
- Request a trial extension
- Schedule a call to discuss your needs
- Take your time — we'll keep your data safe

How do I start my free trial?
- Go to app.stageholder.com/register
- Enter your email address
- Create a password
- Verify your email
- Start using Stageholder!
The whole process takes about 2 minutes.
Can I use my work email?
Yes, and we recommend it! Using your work email:
- Keeps your trial associated with your organization
- Makes it easier to invite colleagues
- Simplifies the transition if you subscribe
Can I try Stageholder with my real data?
Absolutely! We encourage it. You can:
- Import your existing spreadsheets (Excel, CSV)
- Add assets manually
- Scan barcodes if you have them
Testing with real data gives you the best sense of how Stageholder will work for you.
Team Trials
Can I invite my team during the trial?
Yes! You can invite unlimited team members during your trial. This helps you:
- Evaluate the collaboration features
- Get feedback from your team
- Test role-based permissions
Can my team continue using it after I subscribe?
Yes. When you subscribe, all team members you invited during the trial keep their access.
What if different team members signed up separately?
One workspace should have one trial. If you have colleagues who signed up separately:
- Decide which workspace to use
- Invite everyone to that workspace
- We can help merge data if needed
Converting to Paid
How do I subscribe after my trial?
- Log in to your Stageholder account
- Go to Settings → Billing
- Choose your plan
- Enter payment information
- You're subscribed!
Your data and settings are preserved — no interruption.
Which plan should I choose?
Based on your trial usage, we recommend:
- Starter: If you used basic asset tracking only
- Professional: If you used inventory management
- Business: If you used maintenance/CMMS features
- Enterprise: If you need unlimited scale or custom features
